Chapter History
Cahuilla Chapter, NSDAR, is named for the indigenous people of the Coachella Valley. The word means "master" or "powerful," not only physical, but mental, spiritual inner strength. The chapter was organized in 1948 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. Begun with 26 members, the chapter has increased its scope of activities in parallel with the growth of its membership, which is now over 170 members.
